2 User Accounts

3 Health & Allergy Disclaimer

XChef provides AI-generated recipes for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that any recipe is free from allergens (e.g. nuts, dairy, gluten) or suitable for your specific health needs. You are solely responsible for checking ingredients and verifying safety before preparing or consuming any dish. We are not liable for allergic reactions, injuries, or health issues resulting from use of the app.

3.1 Food Safety & Medical Disclaimers

• Food Safety: Always follow proper food safety practices, including cooking to recommended temperatures and correct storage. We are not responsible for foodborne illnesses.
• Nutritional Information: Any nutritional data is AI-generated and should be considered approximate. Consult a healthcare professional for dietary advice.
• Medical Advice: This app is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult your healthcare provider regarding dietary restrictions or health conditions.
• Ingredient Substitutions: You are responsible for verifying the safety of any ingredient substitutions for your specific dietary needs.

4 User-Generated Content

By uploading photos, recipes, or other content to XChef, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, display, and process your content for app functionality. You retain ownership of your content.

• Content Guidelines: You agree not to upload inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content.
• Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our guidelines.
• Content Accuracy: You are responsible for the accuracy and safety of any content you upload.

5 AI & Machine Learning

XChef uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to generate recipes and analyse food images. By using our service, you acknowledge that:

• AI Accuracy: AI-generated content may not always be accurate or suitable for your needs.
• Data Processing: Your uploaded images and usage data may be processed by AI systems to improve our services.
• Algorithm Transparency: We do not guarantee full transparency of our AI algorithms or decision-making processes.
• AI-Generated Content: Recipes and suggestions from our AI are for informational purposes only.

6 App Store & Platform Terms

XChef is distributed through the Apple App Store and must comply with Apple's terms of service. By downloading or using the app, you also agree to Apple's App Store terms and conditions.

7 Data & Privacy

We collect and process user data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy regulations.

8 User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the app, upload offensive or harmful content, or violate any applicable laws. Any features related to alcohol or dietary choices are used at your own discretion and responsibility.

9 Intellectual Property

All content — including logos, recipes, text, design, and AI-generated material — is the property of XChef or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.

12 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes arising will be resolved in the courts of Cyprus.

13 Reverse Engineering & IP Protection

You agree not to copy, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, structure, UI/UX, recipe logic, or internal algorithms of XChef. You may not use any part of the app to build or assist in building a competing product or service.
